On Tuesday we had planned to go and visit the people at the orphanage that took care of Samantha. We were all super excited to go and revisit the place and the people. We were also uncertain about how Samantha would react but she did great! Remember, she was adopted at age three so it has been two years since she has been there. I was surprised as she walked in that she was curious and appeared to remember the place. She was only a bit shy and very interested in the people and wanting to look around. There was one man and several ladies that were there when Samantha was there. The main worker and the main social worker that took care of her were so happy to see her and they said she looked the same just a bit bigger. We were able to walk all around the facilities into all the rooms that Samantha used to play and sleep. It was a great experience and we are very glad that we were able to do this.

Tuesday happenings
After Cathwell orphanage we went to the zoo. It was pretty much a disaster because not long after we got there it started to storm. We were able to see the koala bears and the monkeys and then we had to wait out the rain under a shelter. We eventually gave up and just walked back to the car totally drenched. We also were wanting to go on a new gondola ride to Maokong that starts out at the zoo but because of the storm we weren't able to. We did see the ride though and it looked like a good time. We'll have to put that down on the list for next time. :)
